3 Simple Actions to Help Reduce Sciatica Pain

In my many years as a holistic health and fitness practitioner I have found that when a person is experiencing sciatica, it is usually pain along the path of the sciatic nerve from the spine into the posterior thigh.

The most common muscle that can trap this nerve is the piriformis.

On this video I demonstrate very simple movements to help actively release the piriformis to help relax this muscle thereby lessoning the pressure on the sciatic nerve that passes behind it.

If you have a desk job or must sit for longer than 20 minutes at a time it is a good practice to do stretch the piriformis like I show on the bench.
